Some writers make stuff up
Mark Pedersen, Barron

A request was made 2 weeks ago that Linda Thompson explain why President Obama gave the Muslim Brotherhood $1.5 billion.  No one should be expected to justify something that is not true.
While conservative websites may make this claim, funds actually went to the Egyptian government-more specifically, to the military as verified by fact checking websites and corroborated by a staffer for Congresswoman Michelle Bachman.
If that isn't enough, a letter from Congressman Sean Duffy indicates that he had a part in drafting legislation that sent aid to Egypt and then voted for it.  Duffy's aides made it very clear that the president cannot spend a dime without approval from Congress.
Of particular concern is that one writer, in one letter, can put out enough misinformation to require dozens of letters to refute all the claims.  Much of the misinformation comes from websites that use the cover of a Section 501(c)(4) tax exemption to say anything they want without exposing contributors and doing so at taxpayer expense.  The remainder comes from people who just plain make stuff up.

"Some people just make stuff up"

Saul Alinski - Rules for Radicals
1.“Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have."
2.“Never go outside the expertise of your people.”
3.“Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.”
4.“Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.”
5.“Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.”
6.“A good tactic is one your people enjoy.”
7.“A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.”
8.“Keep the pressure on. Never let up.”
9.“The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.”
10."The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition."
11.“If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.”
12.“The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.”
13.“Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”

But most famous for drawing on Alinsky principles is President Barack Obama. His own community organizing and campaigns have long held strong roots in the tactics of the organizer who did so much work in his city of Chicago.
