Kenneth Wayne "Ken" Miller

Kenneth Wayne "Ken" Miller, 64, of White Lake, South Dakota, formerly of Rice Lake, passed away suddenly at his home in White Lake, SD.
He was raised on a dairy farm with his grandparents, Herman and Amelia Miller. As a young boy and teenager, he attended Gospel Tabernacle in Rice Lake. He attended Loan Elm and Loveland Corners elementary schools, Rice Lake and graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1968.
He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1972. He married Bev Bruinsma on July 15, 2005. The couple made their home in White Lake SD.
Ken was passionate about his garden, often sharing his produce with family and friends. Green Bay Packers held a special place in his heart.
Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Beverly Miller, White Lake, SD; his children, Gary Miller, Madison, WI, Kendra Hansen, Milltown,WI, and Corey Miller, MN; step-children, Melissa (Tyler) Roerg and Travis (Jenny) Bruinsma, all of Sioux Falls; grandchildren, Mariah and Izzy Miller, Taylor, Courtney and Jordyn Hansen and Brianna Miller; step-grandchildren, Aryn and Lauren Roerg; mother, Arlene Davis; brothers, Greg (Debbie) Davis, Birchwood, Mike (Sharon)Davis, Rice Lake, Richard Davis, St. Paul and Randy Davis, Rice Lake; special aunt, Janice (Mike) Zinsmaster, who was like a sister; and special uncle, Albert Miller.
He was preceded in death by son, Michael Miller; son-in-law, Chad Hansen; brothers, Gary and Timothy Davis; and grandparents Herman and Amelia Miller.
A memorial service will be held with military honors at 11:00 a.m. on July 28, 2014 at Rice Lake Assembly of God in Rice
Lake, WI.

I remember Ken from many years ago when I lived in Rice Lake .... He was always a very nice person .... Deepest condolences to his wife and family
