Michael I. Frambs, Jr., 28, of Mikana died Saturday, June 14, 2014 at his home. He was born October 23, 1985 in Rice Lake, WI to Michael and Gayle (Smith) Frambs, Sr.. Mike attended and graduated from Rice Lake High School in 2004. In 2012, he completed the farm management program at WITC and started his journey into the farming industry at the Patty and Randy Hanson Farm. Recently, he changed to a different aspect of farming and working at Lakeland Coop. His passions were hunting, fishing, anything outdoors, photography and his great circle of friends. He was smart, witty, stubborn, hard working and generous and kind with his care and time for others. He loved being outdoors, hunting,fishing and taking pictures of nature.
Michael is survived by his parents, Michael Sr. and Gayle Frambs of Mikana, sister, Andrea Frambs of Cumberland and maternal grandmother, Alice Smith of Rice Lake, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, LaVerne and Karen Frambs, maternal grandfather, Harry Smith and paternal great grandparents Otto and Agnes Frambs.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, June 20, 2014 at Red Cedar Community Church, Rice Lake with Pastor Todd Arneson officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lake Cemetery. Pallbearers are Brian Wolosek, Andrew Schultz, Jeremy Fredrickson, Mike Runowski, Ryan Sirek and Drew Penzkover. Friends may call from 4:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Skinner Funeral Home, Rice Lake and for an hour prior to services at the Church.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Skinner Funeral Home of Rice Lake.
