Cecelia Johns

Cecelia V. Johns, age 82, of Menomonie, formerly of Ridgeland, WI, died on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Menomonie. She was born on July 19, 1931 to Frederick and Ina (Nyland) Thissen at Grand
Rapids, MN. On July 17, 1975, she was married to Harold Johns at Milltown, WI. Cecelia enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles, crocheting and needlepoint.
Cecelia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold, on November 22, 1998; son, Bradley "Buzzy" Reed; and daughter, Patricia Hinsch.
She is survived by her sons, Lloyd (Sally) Reed of Boyceville, Mike (Sue) Reed of Centuria, Steve (Julie) Reed of Balsam Lake, Ronald Reed of Barron, Donald (Karla) Reed of Rice Lake and James (Annabelle) Reed of Las Vegas, NV; daughters, Christine (Mark) Hanson of Rice Lake and Teressa Cain of Ridgeland; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sisters, Ann Ramus of Leads, ND, Bertha Harris of Freemont, CA, Bonnie Clifford of Livinmore, CA, Patricia Shuck of Susanville, CA, Mary Greene of Grand Rapids, MN and Kitty Douglas of Sacramento, CA; many nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 21 at Hay River Lutheran Church in the town of Hay River, Dunn County, with Rev. David Sands officiating and interment will take place in the spring at Popple Creek American Cemetery inthe town of Grant, Dunn County.Arrangementswere with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas and Cameron.
