Marc J. Stuckert, age 41, of Altoona, died unexpectedly in Rice Lake, WI, on August 18, 2013. He was born on March 2, 1972 in Eau Claire, WI, to Wallace and Judith (Nelson) Stuckert.
Marc graduated from Altoona High School in 1990 and served in the US Army. After being honorably discharged, he went to truck driving school and had been driving for various transport companies since 2000.
He loved hunting, fishing, camping, country music and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Marc's wish was to give the gift of life by being an organ donor.
Marc is survived by his parents, Wallace and Judy Stuckert of Altoona; brothers, Pete (Kathryn) of Woodbury, MN and Brad (Suzanne) of Eau Claire; nieces and nephews, Alex and Sean Stuckert of Woodbury, William and Maxwell Stuckert and Amanda and Lauren Ashley, all of Eau Claire; special friend, Maggie of Rice Lake; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, August and Pauline Stuckert, Edgar and Virginia Colvin and William and Deloris Nelson.
A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Cremation Society of Wisconsin is serving the family. Online condolences may be left at www.cremationsociety-wi.com.
