Eugene E. Juza, 80, passed away peacefully with his beloved wife by his side on June 1, 2013 in Springfield, Oregon. He was born on February 26, 1933 in Haugen, Wisconsin to Albert and Mary (Kunesh) Juza. Gene graduated from Cameron High School in Cameron, Wisconsin and entered the United States Army serving in the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in 1955 achieving the rank of corporal. He had a long career at Pape Brothers, Incorporated in Eugene, Oregon, retiring in 1992. Gene married V. Jean Cutsforth in 1954 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. They were happily married for 58 years. Gene was a long standing member of the American Legion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, traveling and spending time with his family. Gene was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings. Gene is survived by his spouse, Jean; his children, Doug (Christy), Denise (Gregg) and Kevin (Rene); five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Alice Catholic Church at 1520 F Street, Springfield, Oregon on June 10 at 10:00 a.m. The family will be greeting friends and relatives after the service in the Social Hall. In lieu of flowers the family requests that rememberances be made to The American Cancer Society, Sacred Heart Hospice or The American Heart Association. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Andreason's Funeral Home.
