Amelia Zaloudek

Amelia H. Zaloudek, 95, of Sarona, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Indianhead Medical Center in Shell Lake. She was born April 12, 1918 in Pauline, NE to John and Mary
(Havel) Mazel.
She was married in Haugen, WI on August 10, 1937 to Anton Zaloudek who preceded her in death on December 27, 1992. Amelia and Anton farmed for most of their lives.
Amelia loved spending time in her flower garden which awarded her with many blue ribbons at the Washburn County Fair. She enjoyed listening and dancing to polka music, going to the casino, baking, fishing and playing cards. Most of all Amelia enjoyed spending time with
her grandchildren.
Amelia is survived by three sons, Allen (Brenda) Zaloudek of Sarona, John (Delores) Zaloudek of Shell Lake and Gary (Rosemary) Zaloudek of Sarona; three daughters, Marge (Curtis) Johnson of Shell Lake, Karen (Mike) Dostal of Rice Lake and Lois (Robert) Kemp of Shell Lake; her daughter-in-law, Eileen Zaloudek of Sarona; 22 grandchildren; 51 great- grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by two sons, Robert and Edward; and one brother,
Edward Mazel.
Funeral services were held on Monday, April 29, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Shell Lake, WI with Father Ed Anderson officiating. Burial was in Sarona Cemetery. Pallbearers were Troy Zaloudek, David Zaloudek, Brent Zaloudek, Monty Zaloudek, Tony Johnson, Brian Dostal, Bobbi Kemp and
Larry Mazel.
Skinner Funeral Home of Shell Lake served
the family.
