Ralph Paur

Ralph Joseph Paur, age 79, of Rice Lake, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at his home. He was born November 2, 1933 in Racine, WI to Anton and Mabel (Miller) Paur.
He was married in Racine, WI on May 21, 1955 to Elizabeth Schliesmann. Ralph worked at Wisconsin Pattern in Racine for 44 years. He had a constant thirst for knowledge and loved to travel with his family and friends.
Ralph enjoyed fishing, hunting, trucks, gardening and having a bowl of ice cream with his grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty"; son, Randy (Carol) Paur of Waupaca; daughters, Joanne (David) Riffer, Jayne Sadowski, Susan Pinzger, all of Racine, Mary Kay (Mike) Mettry and Julie DeRoche, both of Rice Lake; son-in-law, Pablo Toscano of
Rice Lake; grandchildren, David Lucas (Lorie) Riffer, Jamie (Matt) Tumbrink, Jen (Joe) Bonniwell, Pablo R., Amanda and Rebecca Toscano and Dakota DeRoche; six great-grandchildren and one on the way; along with numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren; other relatives
and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Nancy Toscano; and sons-in-law, William Sadowski and Michael Pinzger.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Skinner Funeral Home, Rice Lake with Deacon Michael Cullen officiating. Pallbearers are Randy Paur, Mike Mettry, Dave Riffer, Luke Riffer, Pablo Toscano and Pablo R. Toscano.
Skinner Funeral Home of Rice Lake served the family.
