Former couple charged with child sex abuse

A now estranged couple, once lauded for conquering their methamphetamine addictions and reuniting with their children, have been charged in a sexual assault-related case regarding those children.
David J. Anderson, 46, of Barron and Tiane L. Anderson, 34, of Prairie Farm are in custody each on a $5,000 cash bail set in Barron County Circuit Court on Nov. 6.
David is charged with five counts of felony repeated sexual assault of the same child and one count of child abuse-intentionally causing harm. Tiane is charged with three felony counts of failure to act on a sexual assault of a child.
The pair appeared in Barron County Circuit Court last Wednesday for an initial hearing on the charges. Judge James Babler scheduled a joint preliminary hearing for Thursday, Nov. 21.
The assaults allegedly took place between 2003-2005. The criminal complaint states that one of the children told a Barron County Human Services social worker a year ago that she'd witnessed David raping her brother and that she was concerned for her younger sister.
The assaults took place in three residences in which the Andersons lived over the years in Barron County.
Some of the assaults allegedly took place in a room called the "black room." The child told the social worker that her mother helped take the other three children into the room so that David could sexually assault them. Tiane allegedly assisted in "forcing" the children into the room and watching the rapes take place, stated the complaint.
The Anderson family was featured in a Dec. 26, 2007 Panorama article as a success story for the Reformer Unanimous program.

Everytime I thought- looked-read and rereadat this read I want to throw up-David and Tiane will get theirs in the end-as well as all those that know or knew about this- we know they r out there!!! However~> social services waiting this long to let their children's lives be destroyed about par for the course.Have another cup of coffee and toss another report in the trash! As one person said meanwhile screwing with innocent people! Maybe its time that we look at getting new ppl in these agencies and offices and fire the Mayberry RFD. workers. What in the heck has happened around here? Many things are always ignored and you know another thing our food shelves and pantries lurking with Child molesters where families come to seek help - whats up with that. Lets make sure that they are well taken care of and have all THEY need. Put our little ones in harms way ..doesnt it make you wonder if they have had any training what so ever in the areas that they claim to be a professional in? I think Madison needs to Look into many things in Barron County-Corruption from the get go!

What's new with Barron County? These types of cases have been brought to the attention of social services and even various police agencies and ignored. To serve and protect is a joke when it comes to the children. As for the adults who commit such heinous acts, they usually get off lightly. In the meantime parents who are innocent are harassed.

so they are just now being arrested for it this many years later? both of these repulsive disgusting losers should be hanged by the neck and then shot! What is the purpose of social services if people like this are allowed to have their kids back? Especially if it was told a year ago that it was happening. I am ashamed that I have to share oxygen with these people. I am very understanding, but not for such a wastes of air, and life like dave and tiane Anderson. I hope the DA in barron county makes sure these two never walk free ever again. Lets bring back the death penalty for ***holes like these two.
