It may not look a bit like spring on Rice Lake's snow-covered ball fields, running track and golf course, but the spring sports season has begun at Rice Lake High School. And there's already a track and field meet this week-indoor-for the Warriors when the boys' and girls' teams compete in the Blue Devil Invitational on Friday at UW-Stout Fieldhouse in Menomonie. Sasada is in his second year in the district. He competed in track and field while attending Carroll University in Waukesha and then coached sprinters, jumpers and hurdlers at Brookfield Central High School before coming to Rice Lake.
